I had a great start to the year! It all started off with JJ’s Prince Chacommo winning and qualifying for RIHS winter novice Championship at Hickstead at the end of July. It really makes you feel proud qualifying a horse you have produced yourself, with the team at home, for such a prestigious show. Also Bee and Chacco have qualified for the Foxhunter and Classic finals at The Royal highland Show this year.

We also took our first international trip abroad with JJ’s Prince Chacommo and Congeniality B. It was very exciting getting all the essentials, tools, clothing and everything for the horses from our Sponsors First Choice Horse Supplies, then getting the lorry packed and planning our journey. We had a great show where both horses picked up many prizes. This was my first time competing abroad internationally CSI, so I was overwhelmed by such great results from both horses andthey  both coped really well with all the travelling and being away from home.

I had some really good training days with Coach Andrew Hamilton both at home and at shows, I really feel the benefit of having someone instructing me in the collecting ring at shows and giving me tips before going into the ring.

horsescotland training has been really successful in helping with my position and accuracy when riding, really making me focus on the fine detail, which has made such a difference in all aspects.

Got the Royal Highland Show coming up at the end of June so fingers crossed for a good show.
