How did you become involved within equestrianism and how has your career developed?

Loaned a pony at age 10yrs, took part in Pony Club activities. At 12yrs I got my own pony, Tino 14hh, took part in Pony Club area teams and finished 3rd in my first BE90 at Hopetoun International in 2012. I was offered a ride on Jacaranda Prince and was selected for the u18 CCi 1* Scotland eventing team in 2014. In 2015 and 2016 I was a member of the u18 CCI 1* team again on my own horse Pocket Rocket. On leaving school I went to work with Wills Oakden and evented  2 horses of my own and one belonging to an owner.  In Dec 2017 I went to work and ride for my current owners Geoff and Elspeth Adam in Melrose and started the partnership with Shadow Lad. I was in the horsescotland Development squad in 2017 and 2018.

Who is your sporting hero? Why?

He is inspirational with a positive motivational outlook on life. I admire his work ethic and desire to succeed, believing that you can achieve whatever you put your mind to.

Equestrian Ambition:

To ride at Badminton and be a member of a medal winning team for GB in eventing.

Where are you based?

Melrose in the Scottish Borders

Random/ Interesting fact about yourself:

How will being part of the performance programme benefit you personally?:

The expert instruction from Harry and John will enable me to translate these techniques into my day to day training of my event horses leading to better future performances.
