Hello
Adele Blain
My Story
Originally from England, Adele moved to Scotland with her family, one dog and two horses in tow, in 2018.
The move marked a real change of pace. After years in a corporate career focused on marketing and business strategy, Adele had hoped for a quieter life in the countryside… or so she thought! Between renovating the family home, building facilities to keep the horses at home, and working part-time as an administrator in the care sector, life in Scotland has been anything but quiet!
While she describes herself as more “ground crew” (head of poo picking and haynet filling!) than a rider, Adele’s love of horses grew through her daughters and their passion for riding. She now enjoys looking after her daughter's retired event horse, Mick, and his pony side-kick, Cadbury. When the opportunity arose to join Horse Scotland as a part-time PVG Administrator, it felt like the perfect fit, allowing her to play a small but meaningful role in supporting equestrian pursuits across Scotland.
