British Showjumping are looking for new directors!


Board vacancies have arisen as part of the term rotation and therefore, British Showjumping is
looking for a Non-Executive Director in each of the following areas:
• Showjumping specific – applicants should have current knowledge of the sport.
• Finance Director – the applicant should be financially qualified and have experience in
organisations with a similar turnover.
Candidates for the above positions will need to show experience at Board level along with
significant relative experience in the specific area and be enthusiastic and forward-thinking people
who can operate in a team environment. Meetings are held around six times a year, usually at our
offices in Meriden, West Midlands.
The above are voluntary positions, offered for a three-year term commencing from the 1st April,
2025. Expenses will be paid in line with our expense policy.

The Association of British Riding Schools+ is growing — and this is an exciting time to get involved! We’re here to support Riding Schools and Equestrian Centres across the UK, raising standards in equine welfare, client care, and training.
We’re now looking for a new Trustee to represent Scotland — someone who loves horses and wants to help shape a thriving equine industry.

Leadership, education, training, or fundraising
Advocacy, finance, or business development
Supporting rural communities or building partnerships
Championing the Scottish equestrian industry
