Don Viepar Don is a 17yr old 18hh Dutch warmblood Don is a well experienced school master who has competed all over internationally and has many winnings on his record. He is owned by a well know gentleman in the showjumping world called George O’Shea who kindly gave me the ride on don back in October 2024. Don is a big cheeky chap who has so much character in and out the stable he loves his polo mints and will snuggle into you until he finds them in your pockets! Don has a big heart he will always get your through the start and through the finish he tries his heart out for you and gives it his all! If he could smile while in the ring I’m sure he would! Don has given me confidence to jump bigger tracks. Which I am extremely grateful for.

Since getting Don in October 2024, we’ve made significant progress. We started jumping 1.30 level together to be placed in top 3 then moved on to jump our first Grand Prix together (My first Grand Prix) at Morris Equestrain winter premier in December 2024 we then headed to South View winter premier we jumped the Grand Prix down there to be 6th placed. We took things to the next level by spending 3 weeks in Spain at oliva nova Met III where we were competing at 1* level. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m excited to keep pushing forward.

My short term goals are to continue to compete in international shows at 2* level to progress to 3* level we are planning to head to bowlsworth international highland show and spend a few weeks in Belgium competing at different venues. My main goals this year are to try qualify for hoys and London horse show in the U25s.

​I would like to focus on gaining intense training to improve my overall performance, particularly in my flatwork. Ensuring Don is as supple and balanced as possible is the key to achieving all of my goals. Strengthening this foundation will help us perform at our best, especially in the bigger tracks and international competitions.
