Ashley Stewart 
Membership and Safeguarding Director

Ashley has had a love for all things horses for as long as she can remember. Her journey started with hairy Scottish ponies and local riding schools and eventually led to a varied career within the equine
industry across several countries and areas of work. Ashley holds an Equine Science degree whichshe completed at Bishop Burton followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Education which she put to
good use as a lecturer in Equine Studies before leaving education to run her own livery yard. She has since traded liveries for dressage riders and is currently the Development Officer for Scotland with
British Dressage. Ashley is always keen to continue her studies and knowledge of the industry and has completed courses in a range of areas such as BHS stages, safeguarding, horse and human first
aid, mental health and peer mentoring.
