Ffion  Wyn Jones

Ffion is from West Wales and moved to Scotland to study in 2022. Having grown up in a rural community, she is a massive animal lover and has always enjoyed spending time outdoors with dogs and horses. She enjoyed Pony Club activities as a centre member and riding a range of riding school horses and ponies before progressing onto loan ponies. She enjoyed competing on the University of York’s BUCS squad and competes at unaffiliated shows.
She spent her summer working at Blair Horse Trials where she enjoyed developing her communication, marketing and logistical skills. She enjoyed getting to know people from all areas of the equestrian community in Scotland. Previously, she worked in education and continues to volunteer as a Scout Leader.
Ffion is a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews having completed her MLitt in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literary Culture in 2023. Prior to this, she completed her BA in English Literature at The University of York.
