Amanda Fleet
EDI Director
Amanda`s love of horses started from a young age when she began helping out at her local riding stables in return for lessons. Since then she has ridden all over the world from exploring the mountains of NewZealand to the deserts of Egypt- everything is better on horseback! She volunteered for RDA whilst at university in Edinburgh. Amanda and her wife have owned their horses over the several years have been competing in unaffiliated show jumping and cross country on Billy- a 28 year old dun Connemara pony, who definitely doesn’t act his age! Amanda says
I’m very passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion in sport and when the opportunity arose
to work within this area with such a wonderful organisation- I was champing at the bit (pun
intended). I can’t wait to make an impact with HorseScotland and ensure equestrian sports are
accessible to all.
