
Lauren Semple
Strength and Conditioning Coach

Lauren has several years’ experience in the fitness industry, with a particular interest in strength and conditioning. She graduated with a BSc in Sports Coaching & Development, followed by achieving Level 3 REPS Personal Trainer, and Fit2Ride qualifications
Lauren started working with horsescotland in 2016. She has been riding since she was 4 years old, focussing mainly on pony club games when she was younger. At the age of 20, Lauren started competing in Working Hunter classes and British Eventing.
When asked if she has a random/interesting fact about herself Lauren responded “My children love to tell strangers that Daddy is allergic to Mummy, and he has a doctor’s note to prove it!! My husband is allergic to everything horsey and loves to moan about it”.

Team GB & Scotland member for athletics for over 10 years and held the British record for 300m indoors for 15 years until it was broken in 2009.
