January has been a great start to the year. We kicked off at Morris equestrian for their new year show which ended 2019 with a 1/2 in the 1.30 with Addi & George.
New ride Lacara, owned by Louise Stewart, picked up her final Newcomers double clear for the regional finals 2020. My own Feeling had a last minute change of plan and finished 3rd in her first puissance jumping 1.65. From there it was off to Aintree for the Elite show where new ride John VDL, owned by Mandy Haig, jumped 3 double clears out of 3 including his first Foxhunter.
The open horses jumped some solid rounds in the 1.40’s. Next stop will be Horse Scotland training and then on to Southview Equestrian with aims of qualifying for the Spring Championships in March.
