Kelly Connor’s February!

It was a quiet month for the horses with only 2 shows. South view premier was the main focus for this month so it was just 1 day at Snec the week before. Unfortunately addi was still off so it was just George in the 1.30. He finished 3rd and got his final double clear to qualify for national championships in August. 6yo John vdl picked up another 2dcs in newcs & fox and he took the bonus for finishing highest place 6yo.

Lacara also jumped double clear in the newcs.Then it was south view. Lacara jumped double clear in every class she jumped including the hickstead qualifier, finishing with a lower placing. John vdl was 2nd in the winter 6yo and qualified for the spring championships the end of March at addiington. Unfortunately, George struggled with the small indoor arena but he finished up much improved by the end of the week after a tack change and jumped a really classy round in the Grand Prix for just 1 mistake.Highland show qualifiers are next on the agenda for March starting with Snec on 14th.
